1. What information do we collect?
The Sephora University service collects the following information by means of a form. This information is used to verify that users of the Site (« Users ») are authorized to access the Site:
- Professional e-mail address;
- User ID;
- First and last name;
- For SEPHORA users, country of practice.
When we collect personal data about you, the information mandatory for the use of the Site is identified by an asterisk or any equivalent mention on the Site registration form.
Subject to your consent to use cookies, we also collect statistical information through the use of cookies in order to know how the Site is used (frequency of consultation of the different pages of the Site, download statistics etc.).
2. What is the legal basis and use that we make of collected information?
We only collect personal data where we have a legal basis to do so.
The personal data we process is necessary for the management of the Site, to manage User credentials and to display relevant contents provided by and for Users.
Subject to your consent, we use cookies to enable us to improve Site performance.
3. How long is your data kept?
Your personal data is generally kept for a period that does not exceed the period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
4. How can you access your personal data? How can you correct or delete them or exercise your other rights?

To exercise the right to object to commercial prospecting, the User may also click on the unsubscribe link added in each e-mail sent by Sephora.
5. Who receives your personal data?
We store your personal data in the European Union. However, it is possible that the data we collect when you use our Site may be transferred outside the European Union to countries whose applicable legislation on the protection of personal data differs from that which is applicable within the European Union or to your country of residence.
This is particularly the case for data transferred to our service providers or subcontractors located outside of the European Union. When the recipient is located in a country whose legislation has not been declared adequate by the European Commission, we ensure that the transfer is governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses which guarantee an adequate level of protection of privacy and fundamental rights of individuals or equivalent guarantees.
